Reason for non-attendance

Certificates required for non-attendance

There is no maximum time for non-attendance on the basis of legal grounds. In this case the student is however requied to provide a certificate that proves the legal grounds for the non-attendance. Please attach the required certificate to this enrolment form.

Legal grounds for non-attendance and the documents proving them are:
1. Completion of military service, civilian service or voluntary military service for women in Finland
- Call-up order
2. You need leave from studies to care for child in connection with the child’s birth or adoption
- Kela’s certificate regarding maternity, paternity or parental allowance period or, if the certificate has not yet been received, a medical certificate regarding the pregnancy or corresponding certificates from the authorities of other countries regarding statutory parental leave.
